I bought a new Canon 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS II kit lens for my camera since I felt that the 18-55mm kit lens included in the package was already limiting me. I took advantage of the mall sale and got the lens for a really great price, and gave it a test drive. Suffice to say, it was impressive. Maybe that’s just because it’s my first set of lenses aside from the original Canon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II kit lens that came with it, but either way, it just gave me an opportunity to take photos with angles I couldn’t do before.

(I can hear someone complaining: “it’s so long!”)

Here’s my stab at photography, also serving as test shots for the new lens. Pictures with both lenses included for an apples-to-oranges comparison.
